My first job as a physical therapist, I got in December 2000… I worked at HealthSouth Pembroke Pines.
Honestly, I hated it. I had to see about four patients per hour, and I had no help… and I was a brand new grad PT.
Stop Burning Bridges in your life and Learn to Treasure them
But you would never know what to expect. I had fun everyday and I brought the same energy back then that I bring now as a entrepreneur. Even though I really didn’t know what the hell I was doing back then, having that experience still accounted much of the drive I have today. When I got a job offer to move up to Tampa, I smiled every day until I was finished with them. It was a learning experience to say the least. Having that first job taught me the in and out of being a professional Physical Therapist. Being a fresh graduate will lead to a lot of new experience and learning along the way.
Because as a wise person once told me… Unless you can walk on water… Don’t be burning bridges too many because these bridges will provide the way to get you where you want to go in life.
