I have ran four marathons, I’ve ran times between 5 hours and 37 minutes. And I’ve ran one marathon as fast as 3 hours and 50 minutes. But here’s the one thing that I have never done in a marathon. I’ve never been able to run the whole way.
I actually should say, “I have completed four marathons.” And there is one marathon where I got to the twelfth mile. The night before I was very sick – like really sick – and my buddy told me, “Greg, you can’t go out there.” and I did. And I walked 14.2 miles – walked and ran and crawled to the end. I will never quit. That’s one thing that you’re going to get with me. I will never, ever quit. The things that are important to me – I am not quitting. I am not quitting on my wife, I am not quitting on my kids, I am not quitting on me, my health. And I am not quitting on my business. And that’s it.
You find a way to finish. This 60-day program took me about seventy five days this time. Last round you know I hated fifty six for fifty six or sixty for sixty. Every single workout I hit, perfect eating. This one wasn’t like that. It’s a lot of travelling, a lot of producing courses. Two record breaking months for my business. It was hard. This was hard. But i didn’t quit.
That’s the message. I don’t know if you are still on day nineteen or twenty one day fix three years ago but you can’t quit. You can’t quit on yourself. It was ugly, but we got done.
I’m in a point now where I need a little bit of break before I go into something else. I want some ideas, I want to keep muscle. I actually considering doing three days a week of crossfit because I know it’s really hard. And it just taking other days off. About 22 minute hardcore.
